After launching of Jio SIM in India, there a new Term used at many places like – True 4G call Service, 4G HD Voice Calling Service etc and all these link to one single work – VOLTE which stands for Voice Over LTE. This is basically new feature where you can make calls from your internet connection over 4G to any phone, landline, mobile with crystal clear sound, no disruptions or call drop considering you have enough 4G.

Now JIO Sim offer free voice calls via VOLTE only, So most of the people wondering whether my phone has VOLTE Enabled or not So We have consolidated the list of phone which support VOLTE.

So in many phones VOLTE feature may not be enabled although their device support it so we have below listed the methods to enable the VOLTE in your phone –

1. For Android Lolipop Non Rooted – How To Enable VoLTE option From Settings No Root.

Launch the Dialer app on your phone, and dial *#*#4636#*#*.

  1. Choose Phone information.
  2. Enable or select VoLTE Provisioned Flag.
  3. Restart the phone.
  4. Go to Settings ” More ” Cellular networks and toggle the switch for Enhanced 4G LTE Mode, and the HD Voice calling feature should now be activated on your device running Android 5.1.Launch the Dialer app on your phone.
  5. dial *#*#4636#*#*.
  6. Choose Phone information.
  7. Enable or select VoLTE Provisioned Flag.
  8. Restart the phone.

2. Steps to Enable VoLTE support in Xiaomi Mobiles :

Follow Below steps to Enable VoLTE Support in Xiaomi Mobiles ( Redmi & Mi Phones)

  1. Install SOLite App & launch this app.
  2. Go to files tab.
  3. Tap on data > data > com.android providers.settings > databases.
  4. open Settings.db , Global , search for Volte_feature_disabled
  5. change value from 1 to 0
  6. close sqlite editor , restart your phone , open settings > Sim cards & mobile .
  7. After following above steps you can enjoy VoLTE on your mobile. Xiaomi soon officially updates VoLTE in their device in next update.

Requirements For VoLTE enable Process :

You can find cracked version of this app if you don’t want to purchase from play store. Just search on Google “sqlite editor cracked apk” . We strongly recommended play store installation to avoid any problem in your device.

3. Convert LTE phones into VoLTE using Jio4GVoice App

There is another way to use your 4G mobile as VOLTE if you are having JIO SIM using their app which provide bypass to phone and allow you to use Voice Call over LTE. Here is the complete Methodologies –

  1. Download and install Jio4GVoice Application in your android mobile.
  2. Open Jio4GVoice App. You need to allow the app to access your contacts, messages etc in order to work correctly.
  3. Now enter your Jio number and proceed further. It will verify your mobile number. Please note that Jio SIM card is required to use this. Also, make sure that Jio SIM is inserted in your LTE SIM slot.
  4. Complete verification using OTP.
  5. After verification, it will ask your permission to change default calling and message app to Jio4GVoice. It will be better if you give the permission as it will be very easy to initiate a VoLTE call directly from Jio4GVoice app.
  6. Now you are ready to call via VoLTE with Jio network.
  7. The Jio4GVoice application is user-friendly, and you can manage your contacts and messages from Jio4GVoice. You can send or receive messages directly from your Jio4GVoice app.
